Ornamental Penmanship Workshop with Mitch Markovitz:
Sunday, October 27th at 2:30 PM (Town Hall)
Mitch Markovitz will be presenting and teaching ornamental penmanship. Mitch is the artist who created our one-of-a-kind "Dancing Under the Stars" poster featuring Lassen Bros. Dance Pavilion.
Please attend this free program and bring along some paper and a pencil to try your hand at this special art form! Why not bring along a friend too for our final program of the season? We look forward to seeing you!

Diane Sprehe presented an outstanding genealogy program at our September meeting. She has made her handout full of valuable links and resources available for everyone wishing to get started on building a family tree. Thank you Diane!

Dehumidifier & Fan Donations
In case you haven't heard, we are waging a war on water at the Lake of the Red Cedars Museum. Thank you to Linda Foreman for her recent donation of a dehumidifier and Chris Salberg for the fans. If you have a new or used dehumidifier or fan that you can donate to help our efforts to reduce the moisture in our basement, please email us today!
Please pardon our progress! Thanks to generous volunteers, our museum is getting a long-awaited facelift. This is the first time we have been able to undertake exterior restorations to this extent. Over the next several months, our cherished building will be scraped, sanded, primed and repainted. The windows will also be re-glazed and caulked.
